Vaska was founded in Berkley, CA, in 1999, when a fashion designer conceived of the formula after ending her unsuccessful search for an efficacious laundry detergent suitable for delicate fabrics, sensitive skin, and the planet. The formula's natural ingredients are derived from herbs and include the essential cleaning agents you need in order to effectively remove visible dirt, grime, stains, and odor from fabrics. It doesn't contain pollutants, irritants, toxins, dyes, or binding agents, which allows it to wash clean out of fabric, much like a shampoo for clothes. Clothes are left looking, feeling, and smelling their best while leaving nothing harmful behind, on you, your clothes, or the environment.

Putting Vaska On The Map While Vaska received awards for its eye-catching bottle designed for the ultimate pour— it had yet to become a household name. An ideal audience primed for the product didn't even know it existed. We partnered with the executive team to solidify the brand story and to articulate it in sales materials, product packaging, website, and marketing campaigns.

The Clear Choice For Clean With a clear point of difference, compelling product copy, and an innovative approach to product presentation, Vaska landed on the shelves of some of the most prominent big-box retailers, including Whole Foods and Target. The team expanded the brand story with new product formats and new category offerings. We continue to use the product ourselves as it really is good on all fronts.
